As we all seek to become better stewards of our natural resources and to live more eco-friendly lives, community gardens can provide many benefits. Community gardens also provide a vehicle for hands on education and offer local educators an engaging way to teach their students about the importance of caring for the earth. These are just a few of the many benefits the Avon Lake Community Garden provides for our city.
